Marie-Michèle
Marie-Michèle is a professional hairstylist specializing in bridal hair. Her journey is deeply rooted in the artistic and creative world. Self-taught for over 20 years, she has been practicing professionally for approximately 14 years and brings more than 15 years of experience in the wedding industry. Before fully dedicating herself to hairstyling, she explored several artistic disciplines, including visual arts, photography, drawing, and metalwork. She later studied fashion design with a specialization in leather and fur, where working with texture and material sparked her fascination with hair.
This curiosity naturally led her to pursue hairstyling training and to deepen her knowledge of hair coloring throughout her studies. In 2020, she completed a specialized training program in Martinique focused on textured hair, with the goal of offering inclusive services tailored to all hair types. Her love for the performing arts strongly influences her approach: each hairstyle is conceived as a living creation, designed to support and enhance a person during one of the most meaningful moments of their life.
What truly sets Marie-Michèle apart is her adaptability and creativity. She thrives on challenges, manages stress exceptionally well, and has a remarkable ability to create a wide range of styles. Often described as a true chameleon, she naturally adapts to each client’s energy, style, and needs. Her approach is authentic, kind, inclusive, and judgment-free. She radiates a calm and grounded presence that fosters trust, comfort, and relaxation.

What's your favorite product and the brand?
My favorite product is Puff Me powder by Design.Me. It’s almost a magical powder that I use on nearly everyone. It adds texture, volume, and hold to any hairstyle while remaining lightweight and natural.
Which step do you enjoy the most during a bridal hairstyle?
What I enjoy most during a wedding hairstyle is the very first contact with the hair. Every head of hair has its own identity. By respecting it and working with it rather than forcing it, I can bring out its full beauty. I also love helping people appreciate their hair just the way it is.
What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is its versatility and the human connection. We are on the front line with people during moments that are often highly emotional. There is also a strong psychological aspect to this work: creating, making people feel good, and offering support. I have the privilege of being part of a person’s story, or of an important chapter in their life.
What is your favorite hairstyle to create for a client?
My favorite styles to create are textured and fluid looks: messy styles, deconstructed and bohemian buns, sometimes more sleek or structured, but always with a sense of lightness, as if everything is held together by air. I love when a hairstyle feels alive, natural, and free.
